Every Tuesday morning at 10:30 throughout the year our Golden Agers group meets for various activities which serve our church, our community and helps our Golden Agers grow together as the members of the Body of Christ. Below is a list of the activities our Golden Agers organize:
- Golden Agers Meetings – Our building meetings consist of writing cards of encouragement, planning our monthly schedule, sharing words of encouragement and life updates, praying for our congregation and loved ones, singing some of our favorite hymns, a bible study and a meal.
- Golden Agers Trips – Occasionally, our group will take a trip together to tour a place of interest in Ohio.
- Nursing Home Singing – Each month our group visits two nursing homes in Grove City to sing hymns with the residents and offer our friendship and encouragement. During the holidays, we also sing carols with the residents.
- Golden Agers Visits – The Golden Agers make visits to some of our members who are unable to attend our meetings but would still like to fellowship with the group. These visits often include trips to nursing homes or rehab facilities.
